Quoted by Tasnim News Agency , IZSF Public Relations and Media is reporting that in an interview with Tasnim Sport Reporter ,Bahram Afsharzadeh gave some explanations about the activities of International Zurkhaneh Sports & Koshti Pahlevani Federation and stated that Zurkhaneh Sport started working in international level with the hard efforts and endeavors of Mehralizadeh  . At that time I was General Secretary of I.R. Iran NOC and wanted to get approval of some countries by introducing and presenting Zurkhaneh Sport to Olympic Council of Asia to be able to develop and expand it in a better way and include it at Asian Championships officially and get the approval and confirmation of OCA as well .  As the founder of IZSF , Mr.Mehralizadeh made a lot of efforts and fortunately with the emphasis of our Esteemed Supreme Leader and measures taken by Mehralizadeh Zurkhaneh Sport was expanded and developed and movement of Pahlevani or heroism was sent and distributed to other countries by Iran .
He accentuated that at present 85 countries are affiliated to IZSF and in other word it has 85 members . Many of these 85 countries are in direct contact with IZSF and perform Zurkhaneh activities and exercises .  Mr. Mehralizadeh has allocated great deal of time to International Zurkhaneh Sports & Koshti Pahlevani Federation and a lot of efforts have been made so that this Federation could find the proper position and place . If he didn’t support , surely Zurkhaneh Sport would be in trouble and face many problems .  
Former General Secretary of I. R. Iran NOC added that now IZSF has a codified  Constitution and different committees which each of them is organizing training and  educational courses for different countries . However , we need time to develop this sport more than ever . For the first time this Pahlevani or heroic sport was officially included in the program of the Islamic Solidarity Games and the countries  that hadn’t attended the competition at Islamic Games were present at the mentioned  Games and could see Zurkhaneh Sport in person and touch it from a close distance . Be sure that if Mehralizadeh didn’t follow up and make hard efforts , nothing would happen . 
Afsharzadeh pointed out that when volleyball came to Iran we had a net , ball and dimensions of the court . On the other hand , I zurkhaneh sport it is very hard to prepare everything ; We need a Morshed who should recite very well and be familiar with the culture of this sport ; We need Meel , Kabbadeh (bow-shaped iron ) and Sang (Metal Shield ) which each of them requires a separate Federation . Countries can’t prepare these facilities and accessories; But IZSF prepares these sport equipment and send them to mentioned countries. This requires extravagant and huge amount of money which should be spent for the development and advancement of this sport .
Afsharzadeh said that as far as I know my country and its culture , I believe that this sport could be developed and with the emphasis of our Supreme Leader and full support of Mehralizadeh  , we will see much more development and success and more countries will be affiliated to IZSF in the future .
In the end he accentuated that programming for organizing international championships , training foreign coaches and athletes , development and promulgation of Zurkhaneh Sport by the name of Iran in the World requires full support of all organizations and I hope that High-ranking officials and Dignitaries of our Sport help Mehralizadeh to continue his brilliant and astonishing performance within these few years and be able to make Iran more famous at the international championships and expand its name in the other countries .
