IZSF Public Relations & Media is reporting that Friday evening on 22nd of June ceremony and ritual of “Fun Run “ was held in Naghshe-Jahan square with the presence of Mohsen Mehralizadeh ,Isfahan General Governor & President of International Zurkhaneh Sports & Koshti Pahlevani Federation , Heydar Farman Executive Deputy of Olympic Council of Asia and his entourage , Mohammad Soltan Hosseini General Manager of Isfahan Department of Sport & Youth Affairs , Zurkhaneh & Pahlevani Sport athletes and enthusiastic people of Isfahan city to promote and promulgate Jakarta Asian Games and increase the social joy and freshness .
Ceremony and ritual of “Fun Run “ is being held before the important competitions and sport events in the world so that people can be familiar with the championships and competitions and help them to increase their joy , mirth and cheerfulness . In each country one city hosts the “Fun Run “ and on the occasion of Jakarta Asian Games ,two big cities such as Tehran & Isfahan selected as the host of the mentioned ceremony . In this case , Heydar Farman stated that this is indicative of the special importance of Iran sport to OCA that two cities have been selected for this significant event .
In the beginning of ritual approximately 150 athletes wearing uniforms in a symbolic way entered into Naghshe-Jahan square through Sepah Street in accompany with Mehralizadeh and members of OCA . The ceremony began by the performance of the I.R. Iran Army band and musicians and after that Mohsen Mehralizadeh & Heydr Farman delivered speech .
Playing Zarb (Goblet Drum ) , tune of Morshed and performing Zurkhaneh Sport & Pahlevani movements and activities by athletes and  Pahlevans /heroes active in this sport were the other programs of the ceremony so that OCA members get much more familiar with this sport to be able to study and review the aspects of including this sport discipline in the Asian Games  during the upcoming years .
OCA Deputy Heydar Farman gave speech in the presence of Isfahan people stating that I am proud to be in the beautiful city of Isfahan and as soon as I arrive Tehran & Isfahan , I didn’t see anything else except for warm welcome , hospitality and generosity . After 1974 in which Iran used to be the host of Asian Games, we will see the biggest convoy and fleet of Iran in 2018 Jakarta Asian Games .  
Then he added that our main goal of organizing “Fun Run” is to attract people’s attention to holding 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia and in this case I hereby extend my special thanks and gratitude to I.R. Iran National Olympic Committee & governor General of Isfahan.  I kindly ask all the people to enjoy the Asian events and competitions, please support the athletes and I hope that the national flag of the I.R. Iran will be hoisted strongly and vigorously at the Asian Games.
Likewise , Habibollah Nazerian Sport , Recreation Deputy of the Sport ,Cultural Social Department of Isfahan Municipality said that today was the Day of Olympic and “Fun Run “ is the basis for the OCA members to be informed that we have high potential and strength in the light of work force , manpower and skill .
Afterwards he expressed that we will be the host of World Zurkhaneh & Koshti Pahlevani Championships in Isfahan on October (Month of Mehr according to Iranian calendar) , therefore this sport event can help us to be prepared for the mentioned competitions ; All these efforts are made to be able to include Zurkhaneh Sport & Koshti Pahlevani in Asian Games ,but we need time to do so .
Nazerian pointed out that we have made the best of our endeavors and efforts for several years to be able to add Karate to Asian Games and Zurkhaneh Sport & Koshti Pahlevani should pass the same course and path to succeed in entering into Asian Games .
