Kuala Lumpur, Feb 23, IRNA - The Youth and Sports Minister of Indonesia Imam Nahrawi was appointed as deputy head of International Zurkhaneh Sports and Koshti Pahlavani Federation (IZSF).

Iran envoy to Indonesia Valliollah Mohammadi Nasrabadi submitted his decree on Friday which has been issued by the Iranian Head of IZSF Mohsen Mehr Alizade.

Both sides also discussed bilateral ties and cooperation between Tehran and Jakarta especially in youths and sports fields.

Mohammadi referred to holding the upcoming Asian Games in Indonesia and expressed Iran's readiness for establishing better cooperation for holding the games

The 18th Asian Games are scheduled to be held on Aug 18-Sep 2 in Jakarta.

Nahrawi, for his part, extended hope for developing sports cooperation between the two countries.
