International Zurkhaneh Sports & Koshti Pahlevani Federation (IZSF)
Public Relations is reporting that on the first day of Asian Zurkhaneh Sports & Koshti Pahlevani Championships was held in Tanauan city ,Philippines . It is worth mentioning that Iran team achieved the first winning place in the Zurkhaneh Sports discipline by obtaining 716 points . Spectators and audience present in the stadium applauded and admired the Iranian team athletes performance .
Furthermore ,Iraq team performed well and was admired by the fans and spectators . Iraq team succeeded to collect 564 points achieving the 2nd place and Philippines & Nepal team managed to jointly achieve the 3rd wining place respectively with 282 and 223 points .
6th Asian Zurkhaneh Sports & Koshti Pahlevani Championships started with attendance of 15 teams in Tanauan city ,Philippines . An intensive competition took place among the athletes of participating countries and the spectators were pleased and rejoiced by the heart-stealing melody and tune of the Morshed Zang (bell ) .
International Zurkhaneh Sports & Koshti Pahlevani Federation was established in 2004 and it now has 85 member countries doing activity in the area of Zurkhaneh Sports . It should be said that Mohsen Mehralizadeh has been the President of IZSF since the beginning till present time .
It is worth pointing out that Bahram Afsharzadeh ,Senior Advisor in IZSF Executive Affairs attended the above Championships as the Representative of International Zurkhaneh Sports & Koshti Pahlevani and Lee Hi Song ,President of Asian Zurkhaneh Sports & Koshti Pahlevani Federation took part in the championships as well .
