International Zurkhaneh Sports & Koshti Pahlevani Federation (IZSF)
Public Relations is reporting that 6th Asian Zurkhaneh Sports & Koshti Pahlevani Championships commenced by organizing opening ceremony in Tanauan city ,Philippines .
There are athletes from 15 Asian countries taking part in the 6th Asian Zurkhaneh Sports & Koshti Pahlevani Championships in Philippines. The athletes from Iraq, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Kyrgyzstan, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, India, Nepal, Tajikistan, Vietnam and South Korea attended the above Championships.
The competitions organized in “Zurkhaneh Team” , “Individual Arts “( including Heavy Meel,Meel Bazi, Sang, Kabbadeh, Charkhe-Tiz & Charkhe-Chamani ) and Koshti Pahlevani section comprising five bodyweight categories 50 to 60 kg,60 to 70 kg, 70 to 80 kg,80 to 90 kg and over +90 kg .
It is worth pointing out that immediately after the end of opening ceremony , draw of the championships was held with the attendance of team officials ,dignitaries & IZSF Technical officials at the training area of the participating teams .
