According to IZSF public relations department, IZSF Technical Staff held a meeting attended by Dr. Mehralizadeh, technical committee members and coaches of Zurkhaneh teams, in order to review technical issues and drawing of lots.

At this meeting, which was held attended by the IZSF president and senior advisor, first, Dr. Mehralizadeh welcomed the participating teams and expressed hope that inclusion of Zurkhaneh Sports in the Islamic Solidarity Games for the first time may pave the way for the inclusion of this 3000-year-old sport in the Asian and Olympic games.

Then, Mohammad Khoshkhan, the head of IZSF technical committee, discussed the technical issues regarding the competitions and explained the latest technical changes to the meeting attendees.

At the end of the technical meeting of the Islamic Solidarity Games, the regulations proposed by the Islamic Republic of Iran’s National Federation was submitted to IZSF authorities by Mr. Jouhari, the president of Iran’s National Federation.
