A unique sports powerhouse

I found that in Moral values such as honesty, submission, humility and sacrifice are strengthened in Zorkhaneh. In ancient times, warriors were the protectors of moral and spiritual values; Because these values exist in wrestling. Zorkhaneh was a place for physical training and training of warriors who fought against foreign enemies. Like the martial arts that exist in Korea, Japan and China. Zurkhaneh can be effective by filling our children's minds with patriotic feelings.

Zorkhaneh is the oldest Iranian sport that It has a life of 1000 years. In the past, this sport was called "Zorkhanun". It has been famous. In the past, athletes turned to this sport while the strictest regimes dominated them, but they trained under the guidance of a mentor. In the past, Zorkhaneh was a place where Iranians went to get closer to God. They used to go, but today this opinion has faded and there are many questions in this field: Why? Have people moved away from God or their attention  Has it reduced to submission and humility? In this case, there are many issues.
If the word "sports" Notice, you can see that this phrase expresses action, power and expression of feelings. Humans can run, jump, play, etc. in different situations to show their happiness and unhappiness with these movements. The result of this action was the creation and expansion of sports.
In my opinion, the 21st century – The coming century will be the point of change in the history of human civilization. With the beginning of the 21st century, human peace is threatened by hunger and famine and environmental pollution. The loss of moral values causes many problems.      will be Therefore, all our efforts should be to solve the problems of families and human societies today. I believe that the sublime spirit of sports and belief in it, which is above all religious, ideological and cultural differences, can put a healthy and bright society in front of all of us. Zurkhaneh was created in the Middle Ages and that       Its sports have been very suitable for soldiers, I would say. As I have heard, Zorkhaneh exists in most cities of Iran. Of course, not with the glory and authority of the past. Zorkhaneh is a place where athletes can do amazing things with their physical strength. They train with "mils" and heavy "chains", along with the special rhythm that the teacher plays on the tambourine and the special poems that he sings.
Iranians in wrestling and weightlifting in They are at a very high level so that once they won 29 medals in these two disciplines in the Olympic Games. Of course, this issue is not surprising; Because I am confident that these sports have acquired such discipline, power and effective performance from zorkhaneh - which is a traditional sport of Iranians. In this, factors such as: spectators, national identity, gender, government and war also play an important role. are lost Using literary sources, it can be said that Zorkhaneh were created during the Arab invasion of Iran; when it was used as both a stadium and a place for secret meetings. At that time, Iranians were taught how to use war weapons, because the Arabs had forbidden holding such meetings. Zurkhaneh is the seat of power. It is a place where wrestlers display their skills in a pit. The entrance of Zorkhaneh is shorter than the height of a normal person, and when someone enters, he has to bow his head. This is a sign of respect and also a way of protection; Because such doors existed at the entrance of old castles and were built to protect the life of the king and the royal family.
Anyway, political-social differences affected this traditional and old sport of Iran; Because this sport has a direct relationship with religion and religious rituals, but later it left the world of religion to become a favorite sport of today's youth by accepting international laws. Because young people are always leading.

Political effects -  It should be noted that the Iranians of the ancient period (when there was no radio and other communication media) only through quotes that emphasized their national and Islamic identity. , they would get to know their heroes. The places where these gatherings were held – Like coffee houses and brothels - it depended on the social and political conditions of those days. In Zurkhaneh, body and soul are both perfected.
In QIn 1400 AD, there were two types of Zurkhanah. The first type strengthens the national feelings of Iranians     and were supported by the kings of Iran including Ki Khosro, Dariush Kabir and Ardeshir. In the second type of Zur Khanahs, the unity of the Shiites was strengthened. The moral rules in this type of prison were based on the praise of Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh), Hazrat Ali (pbuh) and his family. At that time, the Shahnameh spread the culture of Pahlavi. This ancient sport expanded according to the religious-social, political-social and economic-social situation of its period. It was during this period that religious-sports types and symbols such as: "Dash", "Sufi", "Qalandar", and "Ayar" were formed Meanwhile, only "dash" belonged to Zorkhaneh. With the coordination of the mentor, they were doing the exercises of the predecessors of this field, but the rest of the groups went to   Other ways were taken.
After reviewing the literary sources, I found that moral values such as honesty, humility, and sacrifice are strengthened in Zorkhaneh. In ancient times, warriors were the protectors of moral and spiritual values; Because these values exist in wrestling. Zorkhaneh was a place for physical training and training of warriors who fought against foreign enemies. Like the martial arts that exist in Korea, Japan and China. Zorkhaneh can be effective by filling the minds of our children with patriotic feelings.
After the Arab rule over Iranians, the official religion of the country changed from Zoroastrianism to Islam. In this period, sport was viewed as a recreational-social activity. The emotions of the fighters were commendable. They did not fight for medals, trophies or power. Rather, they were looking for justice and helping the deprived people of the society. As stated in the declaration of Razaz - the great warrior: "We do not wrestle for money and prizes and even for the title; Rather, we wrestle for the pride of Iran and its nation. These sentences are engraved in the hearts of Iranian wrestlers. Although they live in today's competitive and commercial sports world, they believe that wrestlers are immortal and never die; Because it was their actions and behavior that brought them to the level of heroism. Seeing the great respect and value that great Iranian wrestlers such as Pahlavan Razaz and Jahan Pahlavan Takhti among the people. have had, you can understand these values.
Also, in Nishan Haj Seyyed Hasan Razaz and Seyyed Hashem Khatamzadeh Hosseini, the following sentences are clearly visible. They eat: " If we win the competition with the grace of Hazrat Ali (AS), we don't need the money and this money will be used for the research and development of Iranian culture or cash prizes for our guests. We give them to spend their own money." Should we look for sports similar to Zorkhane?
There is no doubt that if we look at the past history of wrestling, we can feel the good smell of Zorkhane from wrestling. Of course, the Iranian Athletics Sports Federation should use every opportunity to create motivation in neighboring countries. For this, first of all, this sport should be widespread in all cities of Iran. It should be started from today's schools and clubs. Of course, this sport may not be noticed quickly at the international level like football or volleyball; So, it is better to use sports similar to Zorkhaneh first - like wrestling, which is loved by every strong young man.
The development of this sport in neighboring countries such as India, Pakistan, Japan, Korea, China and Afghanistan with   It is possible to organize educational workshops and hold conferences in these countries. For example, the ship has existed in India for 2000 years, and the most interesting type is from the time of "Buddha". Buddha is sitting on the shoulders of his opponent in the water while wrestling. In many Indian cities, men formed groups called Akhras and wrestled together. Although the history of wrestling in India goes back thousands of years, Akhras groups still exist in their new form. An example of this case was an Indian wrestler who in       The world championships were undefeated from 1910 to the early 1940s.
An Indian gymnasium (Akhras) has a large square or rectangular pit with a hard surface for practicing. The equipment there includes: various types of rods – like those found in gymnasiums - stone weights for lifting weights and ropes for climbing.
In drawings and paintings The works of Korean artists can also be seen from their traditional ships. 600 years ago, they wrestled in traditional clothes. In Pakistan, wrestling was like India. In this way, Zurkhaneh is also at the level of ancient sports of neighboring countries; This issue helps a lot in the expansion of this sport in neighboring countries of Iran.

Holding competitions
Now there is a discussion about playing this sport at the international level. Is it easy to import an ancient sport into today's commercial sports world? This is definitely possible with the help of friendly countries. In this field, many competitions can be held inside and outside the country.
Humans are naturally drawn to the ancient culture of their society. Ancient chest exercisesto the chest to  The next generations have been transferred.
It is the organization of sports in their educational fields and such things that cause the globalization of a sport. But there is also the fact that some principles have undergone changes over time. But the most important traditional aspect of powerlifting is its complete compatibility with modern theories. We all believe in God's mercy. God wants us to do the best work and the best work in sports is to prepare as many people as possible to have a healthy society and world; So that every human being always has a smile on his face.
Haven't Western countries presented their martial arts to the world today as a basic general sport? or to the great success of Indians in putting their own traditional sport called kabadde   (Kabbadi) Pay attention internationally. Currently, they are trying to introduce their other sport called Kho-Kho to the world community. Therefore Zurkhaneh can be a sport        become international. I agree with introducing this sport to the international community; It just needs a lot of continuous effort, and even in Iran, a lot of effort is needed for Zurkhaneh to become a sports powerhouse. Young people always dream of being a great wrestler or a football star, because they take them as their role models. But this case ultimately leads to strengthening the sense of low self-esteem in people. It is possible, but Zorkhane does not induce such a feeling. We all see what happens in the pit: the athletes encourage each other to be confident and good, in addition to competing, with the voice of the mentor and the melodious beats of his fingers on the drums. If you had the choice between going to Zorkhaneh and watching a football match in the stadium, which one would you choose? Your answer to this question is evident in your doubt. Yes! It is a fact that all factors lead you to today's world of material sports; While there is no motivation or factor that pulls you towards traditional sports.

Conclusion
Everything has been said about Zorkhane: Zorkhane is a unique sport. Heroes are raised in Zorkhaneh, Zorkhaneh is a place where tradition and sports are connected, it is a place where "Rostam", "Puriai Vali" and "bed" They were raised there. The purpose of Zorkhaneh is to nurture the spirit and body of the athlete together.
The promotion of Zorkhaneh sports was discussed in detail, but unfortunately, today we see that the heroes rarely go to Zorkhaneh and this issue must be solved. .
Although there is still a sense of valor in the hearts of Iranians, will there come a day when Zorkhanehs will be revived and their bells will be heard throughout Iran?
In the end, I suggest that along with The year 2006 was called "the year of Zorkhane". Namim.
