Mr. Gholamreza Takhti, who passed away on January 17, 1346, in Tehran, is one of the great Iranian heroes and wrestlers and is known as "World Warrior". In the sports culture of Iran, he is considered a warrior symbol. According to the report of the IZSF public relations, Takhti won the first gold medals in the history of Iranian sports at the 1956 Melbourne Olympics along with Imam Ali Habibi. He achieved one gold medal and two silver Olympic medals as well as  two golds in two world wrestling championships simultaneously Asian Games gold medal, he is in the list of the best of the World Wrestling Union. Gholamreza Takhti was born on the 5th of Shahrivar 1309 in a middle-class family in Khaniabad Tehran. Rajab Khan (Takhti's father) had two sons and two daughters besides him, all of whom were older than Gholamreza. Haj Qoli, Gholamreza's grandfather, was a grocery seller. According to the words of Rajab Khan, Haj Qoli used to sit on a high throne in his shop, and this is why he was called Haj Qoli Takhti among the people of Khani Abad. This name later became their surname. With the money he got from his father's inheritance, Rajabkhan had bought land in the place of the former railway warehouse and built a natural glacier. The first event that happened in Gholamreza's childhood and had a big and unforgettable impact on his soul was when his late father had to mortgage his house to support his family. Due to family problems, Shadervan Takhti studied only 9 years in Manouchehri Khaniabad primary and high school and in 1329 he went to Polad club due to his interest in wrestling as well as  traditional ancient sports. In his sports competitions, Takhti held the record of participating in the Olympics and winning the most medals from these sports. He participated in four tournaments and it was one gold, two silver and one fourth title. In addition to being a hero, Jahan Pahlevan was famous for his character, humane and moral behavior, and his chivalry and altruism. Shadervan Takhti was also proficient in ancient sports and wrestling, as he became Iran's wrestler three times and defeated famous wrestlers each time. Four months after returning from his last trip (Toledo 1966) in November 1345, he started his life together with his wife, who was born in 1346. Four months after the birth of his child, the news of Jahan Pahlavan's death shocked everyone. It was a cold day since January 1346.
