IZSF Public Relations is reporting that Head of International Affairs of IZSF ,Amir Sedighi  met with the High-ranking Officials of GAISF (  Global Association of International Sport Federations ) in Lausanne  , Switzerland to follow up on the conditions of IZSF affiliation and membership . 
In the beginning of the above meeting  Amir Sedighi , In charge of IZSF International Affairs conveyed the condolence message of Mohsen Mehralizadeh , IZSF President on the occasion of the demise and death of Patrick Baumann to Philip Gueisbuhler , GAISF  Chief Executive  and Deputy of the Late President of GAISF. 
Then Sedighi propounded IZSF application and  request for IZSF affiliation with GAISF and being recognized by  this International Sport Organization in a meeting with Davide Delphini , GAISF Membership Application Manager  .
In the meantime ,Delphini expressed his thanks and gratitude to the active presence of IZSF in 2018 Sport Accord Conference stating that GAISF conducted inclusive studies on Zurkhaneh Sports & Koshti Pahlevani and IZSF request over its membership is being examined and reviewed and it is hoped that this will be realized and occurred with continuity of the activities of IZSF in the year 2019 .
It is worth pointing out that GAISF is one of the main organizations  of International Olympic Committee covering and supporting Non-Olympic Sports and in fact analyses the condition and situation of these sports to become an Olympic sport and affiliation with or membership in it is the principal prerequisite to enter the Olympic Games .
IZSF is optimistic and hopeful to take the path and route of entering into Olympic Games much faster with membership in GAISF so that this original and genuine Iranian sport would achieve its real position and place in the end .
