International Affairs Manager  stated that : Nepal has achieved astonishing advancement and progress in Zurkhaneh Sports .
IZSF Public Relations is reporting that in a live TV program broadcasted by Kasthamandap TV  in Nepal ,Samrat Singh who has been working as IZSF international Affairs Manager in Tehran called Nepal as one of the most active members of IZSF in South Asian . Samrat Singh gave brief explanation about how he got familiar with IZSF and how he moved to Iran from India .
In answering to the question raised by the TV channel interviewer and reporter on what caused you to cooperate with IZSF for a long time ? Samrat stated that in the beginning, I used to work and cooperate with I.R. Iran NOC ; But after being acquainted with the Dignitaries and Officials of IZSF and this sport , I was interested in it and found a lot of similarities between the values ruling over this sport and the cultural features of India and after a while I became dependent on this sport in a way that I myself entered the Zurkhaneh “Gowd” (pit ) and continued to the stage that in 2008 I travelled to Nepal as coach to train this sport to athletes for the purpose of formation of Nepal National Zurkhaneh Team .
He also mentioned that after 9 years and continuous cooperation of Nepal Sport Dignitaries and Nepalese athletes , today we can see the formation and establishment of Nepal National Zurkhaneh Sports & Koshti Pahlevani in which Mr.Surendar Manandhar has been elected the President and Mr.Ravi Ghimire holds the position of General Secretary & International Referee of this Federation . Both of them have done their best to get the host concession of the 1st South Asian Championships so that participating teams from South Asian are doing their exercises and training before the competition with complete coordination under the supervision and observation of International coaches in Kathmandu which will take place on 12 October . On behalf of IZSF , I express my special thanks to Nepal for smooth organization of this championships and invaluable  cooperation of Nepal National Zurkhaneh Sport & Koshti Pahlevani Federation as well as Mayor of Kathmandu and other government officials of Kathmandu city .
