According to the IZSF Public Relations Dr. Ahmad Donyamali, Minister of Sports and Youth, attend in the IZSF Bureau Meeting, which has been held on 25th February 2025, Tehran – I.R Iran, The IZSF Bureau Members, along with Mohsen Mehralizadeh, IZSF President.

In this meeting, the Minister of Sports and Youth emphasized and stated the further development of Zurkhaneh in countries around the world: Iran has a good position in the region and we share borders with 15 countries, and we must use this opportunity for development and cooperation in all fields, especially in sports.

He noted: Zurkhaneh is Iran's traditional and ancient sport, and we must strive to introduce this sport to the world.

Good steps have been taken by International Zurkhaneh Sports & Koshti Pahlavani Federation “IZSF”, but we still need to create good events for the development of this field by interacting with countries in the region, especially Persian-speaking countries. Dr. Mohsen Mehralizadeh, IZSF President, appreciated the support of the Minister of Sports and Youth of I.R. Iran for this discipline and suggested that the next IZSF Bureau meeting will be hosted by Tajikistan especially with presence of Dr. Donyamali.

IZSF President, said about the performance of the Federation: IZSF is the only international federation present in Iran. This discipline has its roots in ancient Iranian history and efforts must be made to ensure its presence in the Asian Games, and this will be achieved with the help of the country's authorities. Countless work has been done in recent years, including the participation of this discipline in the Islamic Countries Games in Baku.

Dr. Mitra Rouhi, IZSF Acting Secretary General of the Federation, Soulaymon Abdulvahedoev, IZSF Vice President and Mr. Mohammad Anwar Jekdalek, IZSF Deputy President, were present at this meeting.
