Afsharzadeh: We have consulted for the participation of wrestling in the Islamic Games

According to the report of IZSF correspondent from Baku: Bahram Afsharzadeh on the sidelines of the finals of the Islamic countries games Expressing his satisfaction with the holding of the competitions in this field in these games, he said: The fact that the first round of Zurkhaneh competitions in the games of Islamic countries was accompanied by the welcome of the participating teams is a source of joy and hope.

He pointed to the reception of the people of Baku from Zorkhane matches  He said: The facilities provided by the host for these competitions are completely standard and advanced, and this has helped the level and technical quality of the competitions.

Afsharzadeh, emphasizing again the order of the Islamic countries games, pointed out the presence of 11 countries in this competition period and reminded: For the simultaneous presence of wrestling and power sports in the games of Islamic countries, consultations have been conducted and we have had discussions with Khadim, the head of the wrestling federation and a member of the World Wrestling Federation. I hope it will be planned in such a way that we will witness the realization of this important thing in the future. This ancient sport, which is the original sport of our country, will have more presence in the international fields.
